Didn’t get to coach @HenneOwen but he gets to join the other Mountaineers with the @Cardinals. Congrats to @SHGriffBaseball. Those guys do an incredible job developing great players.

Fitting coaching honor for a 1st class man!
🌟 Tim Mead 🌟
Few coaches have demonstrated the longevity, commitment, and service to the game that have defined Tim Mead's career at @WalshUBaseball. Entering his 44th season in the Cavaliers' dugout, Mead is the winningest coach in program history with 983 victories and has built Walsh into one of the Midwest's perennial contenders. Under his leadership, the Cavaliers have captured conference championships across multiple eras, highlighted by the program's first NAIA World Series appearance in 2007, a Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament title in 2022, and consecutive G-MAC South Division championships in 2025 and 2026. Since Walsh joined the G-MAC in 2018, Mead has guided the Cavaliers to eight consecutive postseason appearances while establishing a culture of excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
Mead's influence on the game has extended well beyond the Walsh dugout. He served as President of both the American Baseball Coaches Association in 2011 and the NAIA Baseball Coaches Association from 2003-05 while also contributing as a member of the ABCA Board of Directors and chair of the ABCA Hall of Fame and Veterans Hall of Fame committees. In recognition of his impact on the game, Mead received the NAIA Robert E. Smith Achievement Award in 2017 and became a Lifetime Member of the ABCA in 2024. His leadership within the coaching profession and commitment to student-athlete development have helped shape generations of players and coaches while strengthening the game at both the institutional and national levels.

Excellent post. 🗣️ 💯
The message is for the freshman on a small college roster who’s season ends in the next few weeks.
You’re probably sitting there asking yourself “was this all worth it?”
You probably played less baseball than you ever have in your life this season.

HS & JC recruits 📣:
Wanna know how some of your options compare, regardless of division?
I’m not positive what 📊 go into these, but it’s the best overall snapshot out there.
Alot of D3 >> D2. And alot of D2/NAIA >> D1.
Do your homework. Don’t chase the level. Find the fit.
D1, D2, D3, NAIA Combined Ratings
D2 Colorado Mesa at #57, D3 Denison at #198, NAIA Lewis-Clark at #290.

This is the 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 of #FUEGO. Mike Gregos talks & walks #MUDITA.
A selfless leader, who’s trusted our process for 5 years, is guided by values, & finds joy in celebrating his teammates.
He positively infects our team every day, & the game rewarded him!
Seton Hill's Mikey Gregos joined the WSN postgame show after driving in a run in the Griffins doubleheader sweep of Pitt-Johnstown Saturday afternoon. @GriffinsSports @SHGriffBaseball

Been a whole bunch of these fist bumps over the years w/ @Jack1Whalen at 3rd base. Often after he’s swiped a couple of his record setting 132 bags.
I’m so lucky to have a front seat to watch a special competitor.

There’s a new 👑 of the basepaths in the @PSACsports
With his 118th career swipe, senior Jack Whalen has become the 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference!

I’m so 🙏 for these moments & relationships. From our bus driver Tim, to Flick & the crew @WestmorelandSN to our alum all over the country, our volunteer coaches & especially our parents. The support from those outside our team gives those inside our team an unmatched experience.
