AnimeLad Progress 🚀
I’ve updated the genre discovery and also migrated the frontend to TypeScript
Now I am focusing on the visual side, tightening the UI/UX and giving the whole app a proper design direction🥲
I have also planned out the theme, fonts, typography hierarchy, and overall visual style
Time to make it look good 🥲🚀
AnimeLad V3 Progress 🚀
I have stripped away the unnecessary parts from the previous version, removed the auth system, login/register pages, and changed the watchlist to use localStorage instead🥲
I also connected the backend API to TanStack Query and implemented it across Home, Search, Details, Watchlist and the Navbar
The UI looks rough for now 😂 but I’m focusing on getting all the data models properly on the screen first before I start polishing everything
I also started breaking up some of the big components because my previous implementation was basically me squeezing too much functionality into a single file 😂
One thing I have really noticed while refactoring is how important it is to understand the codebase first 🥲Once you understand how everything connects, you can see exactly where changes should be made
So next is to add Genre discovery and TypeScript migration🚀
