Dear
@TheDAOLabs,
A year ago today, I walked into this ecosystem as a curious stranger with a dream and no idea where the journey would take me. I didn't even believe it was possible to earn simply by tweeting and contributing my thoughts.
365 days later, I look back and realize that the biggest reward wasn't only what I earned along the way. It was who I became.
I went from trying to find my own place here to leading communities, onboarding newcomers and mentoring people who now stand where I once stood—curious, hopeful and wondering what might be possible if they just keep showing up.
Through
#SocialMining, I learned that an ordinary voice can have value. That your ideas, consistency and contribution can open doors you never knew existed. And through the
#DAOVERSE, I found something even harder to measure: people. A community that taught me, challenged me, celebrated with me and eventually became family.
@TheDAOLabs, you have put smiles on faces, laughter in mouths, food on tables and dance in feet. I don't say that as an observer. I am living proof. One year ago, I came here looking for an opportunity. Today, I'm grateful that somewhere along the way, I also found purpose, growth, friendships and a reason to help the next person find their footing too.
And behind everything I'm celebrating today are people who chose to build this and keep it moving.
To the entire Daolabs team, thank you. For the work people see and especially for the countless things happening behind the scenes that most of us will probably never know about. What you have built has become part of real people's stories, including mine.
And a special appreciation to the CEO and the vision that made all of this possible in the first place.
It takes something to imagine a system where people's time, ideas, creativity and contributions can actually mean something. It takes even more to keep building that vision long enough for people like me to walk in as strangers and, one year later, have a story like this to tell.
Thank you for creating the door.
Thank you to everyone who held it open.
And thank you to this community for giving me a reason to keep walking through it.
One year in and I've had countless lessons, countless memories and so many people to be grateful for. And somehow, it still feels like I'm only getting started. 🫶 My prayer for
@TheDAOLabs is simple: may this vision continue to grow, may the hands building it never grow weary, and may the doors it has opened for people like me remain open for many more people to walk through. May the team have the wisdom, strength and courage to keep building through every season, and may we look back years from now and realize that this was only the beginning of something much bigger than any of us imagined.
Happy one-year anniversary to me in the
#DAOVERSE. Here's to many more years with
@TheDAOLabs. 🫶
