@MericanGrit Dog & military videos. Shepherds with no off switch. Working dogs who serve beside the people who do.

When a job requires 0 turtles… Naturally, every turtle decides it’s time to clock in. I’d spend the whole shift laughing instead of cleaning. How could you not?
Everyone says a German Shepherd needs a job. Apparently this one got tired of waiting and submitted a resume. The experience is questionable, the skill set is highly specialized, and that interview face is doing a lot of work. I’m not sure who should hire him, but read the application and decide for yourself.

I know German Shepherds are good with kids, but this is above and beyond the call of duty. First, the kid becomes the German Shepherd’s shadow. Then he becomes part of him.
ATTENTION: My posts are for folks who still have a sense of humor, can handle a little sarcasm, and don’t get their panties in a wad over every joke. My German Shepherd, Bravo, already ran your background check. If you’re still here, you passed.

Are those camouflage Crocs, in four-wheel-drive mode with the heel straps engaged on Mr. Wango Tango? I think his dog is trying to warn him that the Crocs are going to be visible in the picture. The camouflage has failed, @TedNugent .

This is your sign to get your baby some German Shepherds. One to be the best friend. One to supervise the best friend. And both to make sure you never have to parent unsupervised again.
Every child deserves a best friend who grows up beside them. But a German Shepherd becomes something more—playmate, protector and a love story they’ll remember for the rest of their life. Bravo is that for my grandchildren.

Their German Shepherd was their first baby. When the new baby came home, he didn’t get jealous or surrender his place in the family. He made room beside him—and decided she would never be out of his sight.

The evidence was all over both of their faces. But the kid sold out his German Shepherd brother before the questioning even started. That side-eye says the dog will remember this betrayal at snack time.

You think you’re bringing home a puppy. Actually, you just hired a live-in security director who eats your furniture, audits every visitor and considers closed bathroom doors a breach of protocol. The ears eventually fit. The need to supervise you never does.

I’m not taking a small dog to camp in a blizzard. I'm taking Bravo—a 70-pound German Shepherd who thinks “personal space” means lying directly on top of me. He’s not a lap dog. He’s a weighted blanket with teeth and his own furnace.

Sadly, I didn’t have my phone in my hand when I saw Bravo do this. He got up from the bed, walked over and checked on my granddaughter like it was his job. So I used AI to recreate the moment. German Shepherds don’t babysit. They stand guard.

A woman started with a new client today, and this was her view the entire time. Meanwhile, the dog enjoyed the tub like he was the one paying the mortgage.
The evidence was all over both of their faces. But the kid sold out his German Shepherd brother before the questioning even started. That side-eye says the dog will remember this betrayal at snack time.

Could her German Shepherd’s skin problems and ear infection be caused by bathing her too often? It seems like all those baths could be stripping the natural oils from her coat—and getting moisture trapped in her ears certainly wouldn’t help. Any German Shepherd owners dealt with this?,

As soon as a new baby enters the house, a German Shepherd seems to understand that everything has changed. No announcement. No explanation. They just know there’s a new little family member to protect—and eventually, a new best friend.
I found a slice of heaven.

Something changes in a German Shepherd the moment a new baby comes home. No training. No instructions. They just seem to know. Watch how quickly they accept the job.
I guarantee those dogs will never turn on her.

Bravo's probably the nicest dog in the neighborhood. But when I take him for a walk, every little-dog owner is preparing for an emergency evacuation.
