At least one of the groups (Satmar) represented at this jovial meeting is openly anti-Zionist and most of the others are either critical of Israel or unsupportive.
Frankly, the only political value of this photo op with stereotypically Jewish Jews isn’t 2028 votes (these orgs don’t have enough to matter) but to kosher one’s Israel views.
Note, Mamdani is using a similar strategy.
VP Vance’s photo op with Hasidic leaders was timed to coincide with his troubling comments about his friendship with Tucker Carlson. This is all political theatre and its purpose is to win in 2028. You may not like it but it’s better than having the Democrats back in charge.

President Trump seeks to make America the AI capital of the world. That can’t happen without data centers. If we don’t build them, other countries will, and the capital and jobs go with them. But we don’t have to choose between electric bills and tech leadership. We can do both.
