The truth is the beat is not being leaked anything by the FO and they are mad about it. And they have used the Mets poor play to flex on the team. There’s no objectivity and they get on twitter and talk like frank about a team they are paid to cover.

I think the reason Pete Alonso leaving hurts so much is because he genuinely wanted to be here. Jacob DeGrom wasn't a New York guy and his wife wanted out. Pete really wanted to play his whole career here.
