gonna push my imaginary narrative that SHIKI mains would've been all poopy heads and their character severely annoying to fight against if he were to be in the game
(he screams trapper/setup character and would've fit nicely with the other godforsaken ones)
Like when you play Melty, lightning is such a huge part of his moveset that it makes you assume he just HAS to have it in the vn, and then when you read Tsukihime, you get so used to SHIKI and Roa just having a knife and being homeless that you forget Melty exists

no i agree with the latter, i've shortly acknowledged below that some scenes are straight up better off as is. but i don't think it's too crazy to spitball for sqeeuzing out a couple more bloody cgs when the chance arises or that fmdm could be a tad more visually visceral.

i'll always have a soft spot for pre-Candeza melty for adhering the most to the original vn's structure and cozy, bittersweet vibes.
they were true extensions to tsuki whereas during Candeza the series shifted to being more proper fgs and creating its own style and identity.
