Great night joining Mike Harostock, candidate for State Representative in the 121st District. Mike has shown that he is a dedicated community leader who cares deeply about the people and communities he hopes to represent. He understands that serving your community isn’t about party, it’s about listening to people, working hard, and getting things done. Mike is putting in the work every day, and it was great spending the evening with him, his wife Ashley, and dozens of supporters from across the 121st District who are confident he will represent their community well.

Day two in Dallas for the Republican National Convention was a great one. We kicked things off with the Pennsylvania delegation breakfast, where PAGOP Chairman Greg Rothman introduced me and my fellow members of Congress from Pennsylvania including GT Thompson, Scott Perry, Lloyd Smucker, John Joyce and Ryan Mackenzie as we addressed Republicans from across the Commonwealth. We also heard from Vice President JD Vance, who laid out a path for for victory in November. From there, it was another full day at the convention, with speakers discussing the issues at stake in this election and the work ahead. The day focused on growing the economy, tax relief for working families, lowering prescription drug costs, border security and creating more opportunities for American workers and small businesses. Later, Vice President Vance took the convention stage for his address, followed by President Trump, who closed out the convention with remarks highlighting the administration’s record and the stakes heading into November. Throughout these two days in Dallas, Republicans have emphasized building on the constructive policies enacted over the past two years and mobilizing voters ahead of November’s midterm elections.

Does anyone not think the mainstream news outlets are wildly corrupt and biased when you see comments like this? I was right there. I saw what happened. There was nothing staged about it. Vice President Vance just happens to be quicker than this moron who wrote this and apparently felt the need to contrive a story and spread misinformation to the American people. And this isn’t some remote news station. This is NBC News’ Chief White House Correspondent. This is outrageous and sick. All Americans should be aware of the bias and lies that exude from the left-wing press. Shameful.

It was a great first day here in Dallas for the Republican Midterm Convention, connecting with so many patriots from Pennsylvania and across the country. We heard from an outstanding lineup of speakers, with Pennsylvania taking center stage throughout the evening. Pennsylvania was well represented, including remarks from Congressman Rob Bresnahan, while Senator Dave McCormick spoke and highlighted the U.S. Steel deal that we worked with President Trump to help secure, protecting an iconic Pennsylvania company and supporting steelmaking jobs and investment in the Commonwealth. President Donald J. Trump capped off the night by highlighting the accomplishments of his first two years back in office, securing the border, cutting taxes and advancing American energy, and laying out the stakes of the midterm elections. The choice is clear between our plan to grow the economy, strengthen American industry and build on those accomplishments, and the socialist policies increasingly embraced by the Democratic Party. There is tremendous energy and enthusiasm here as we come together to work toward a stronger, safer and more prosperous America.

Always a pleasure to be at the Wyoming County Fair! I enjoyed visiting with so many families, farmers, local businesses and friends from across Wyoming County. I was also glad to be joined by our Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Jason Richey. Always a pleasure to stop by the Wyoming County PA Republican Committee booth and spend time with such a dedicated group of volunteers. Shelley and I are deeply saddened by the passing of our longtime friend, Lynette Villano. I knew Lynette for 20 years, and there was no more dedicated patriot, friend, or community leader. Lynette devoted so much of her life to Luzerne County and our Republican Party, serving as county chairwoman, state committeewoman, and delegate. A steadfast supporter of President Trump, she brought unwavering conviction and a deep love of country to everything she did. Her dedication inspired those around her, and her friendship meant a great deal to me. My prayers are with Lynette’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Great to be back in Williamsport for the Little League World Series to cheer on Pennsylvania’s own East Side Little League from West Chester! It was a pleasure joining State Treasurer Stacy Garrity and Lycoming County Commissioners Scott Metzger and Marc Sortman for the game. These young athletes have made our entire Commonwealth proud with their talent, teamwork, and determination. The Little League World Series represents the very best of America’s pastime, bringing families and communities together while welcoming players and fans from around the world to Pennsylvania. This was a hard fought game that went into extra innings thanks to a gritty performance. A tough loss. But West Chester represented Pennsylvania with pride.

Great to be with Senator Lisa Baker for her annual Clambaker event! It was also a pleasure to see Representative Brenda Pugh, Representative Dane Watro, Susquehanna County Commissioner David Darrow, Wyoming County Commissioners Tom Henry, Rick Wilbur, and Ernie King, District Attorney Joe Peters, and so many friends and supporters. Lisa has been a strong conservative voice and a tireless advocate for northeastern Pennsylvania. For nearly two decades, she has stood up for our veterans, supported law enforcement, protected taxpayers, and delivered for our communities and we need strong leaders like Lisa continuing that fight in Harrisburg.

It was great to join Speaker Mike Johnson and Congressman Rob Bresnahan for an event focused on supporting the brave men and women of law enforcement who work every day to keep our communities safe. Under Speaker Johnson’s leadership, House Republicans are working alongside President Trump to restore law and order, secure our border, combat the flow of deadly fentanyl, and stand firmly with the officers who put their lives on the line to protect us. Despite holding one of the narrowest majorities in congressional history, the Speaker continues to unite us and deliver results for the American people. Rob has also been a strong addition to Pennsylvania’s Republican congressional delegation and an effective partner in representing the priorities of northeastern Pennsylvania. We are fortunate to have his leadership in Washington and his commitment to the hardworking families and communities he serves. Protecting our Republican House majority will be critical to maintaining the progress we have made and continuing to move our country in the right direction. I look forward to continuing to work alongside Speaker Johnson, Rob, and our entire Republican team to deliver for Pennsylvania and advance our shared conservative values.

Last evening, I enjoyed joining the Susquehanna County Council of Republican Women for their annual Veterans BBQ, held this year in celebration of America250. It was great to spend time with Senator Lisa Baker, Representative Jonathan Fritz, Commissioner Alan Hall, Susquehanna County Coroner and Republican Chairwoman Jessica Chiaramonte, and Sheriff John Oliver. It was also great to have our next Lieutenant Governor, Jason Richey, with us in Susquehanna County. Over some great food, we had a great discussion about the importance of standing with our veterans, supporting our local communities, and advancing the conservative policies that will keep Pennsylvania and America moving in the right direction. It was also great to see my friend Donna Cosmello, who has been a strong and dedicated supporter of the Republican cause for many years. Thank you to the Susquehanna County Council of Republican Women for the invitation, for putting together another wonderful evening, and for everything they do in support of our veterans and our Republican team.

One of the best parts of this job is the opportunity to connect directly with the people and families I have the privilege of representing. I had a great time Friday at the 15th Annual Northeast Leadership Golf Classic and Dinner, one of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s premier annual events, and was joined by many great leaders from across the region. This year’s gathering was especially meaningful as we honored the legacies of Bob Tambur and Pat Solano, two men who were instrumental in building the Northeast Leadership organization. If you looked up the definition of a pillar of the community in the dictionary, it was Bob Tambur. His passing will be felt deeply not only by those in attendance, but by communities across Northeastern Pennsylvania. He left a mark that will last for generations. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this year’s event such a meaningful tribute.

It was great to spend the evening in Lebanon County with Senator Chris Gebhard and so many friends and supporters from across the community. Thank you to everyone who joined us, including Representative John Schlegel, District Attorney Pier Hess, and the many local elected officials, community leaders, and grassroots supporters who came out. I always appreciate the opportunity to connect with people across the county as we continue working together to advance the priorities that matter most to Lebanon County and all of Pennsylvania.

I spent a great afternoon at the Lycoming County Fair yesterday celebrating the hardworking farmers and agricultural community that make Lycoming County so special. It was also great to see Commissioner Scott Metzger and spend some time walking the fairgrounds together. Since 1870, the Lycoming County Fair has been a proud tradition that brings the community together and showcases the very best of the county. Saturday afternoon, I joined dedicated patriots from across Pennsylvania for the 10th Annual Rally at the Rock, hosted by Commissioner Doug McLinko! It was great to see our State Treasurer and future Governor Stacy Garrity, Congressman “GT” Thompson, and so many outstanding state and local elected officials and Republican leaders.
