We were proud to stand with @BorreroForFL at today’s press conference exposing the Chinese Communist Party-linked @FerrettiGroup’s potentially unlawful operations near Port Everglades and the U.S. Coast Guard Station. For years, the Miami Young Republicans have led the fight to expose and block CCP influence in Florida, from shutting down Confucius Institutes, to opposing Chinese state-backed infrastructure projects, to supporting the landmark law Rep. Borrero passed that bans CCP-linked entities from owning property near critical infrastructure. Following our joint effort, Florida Attorney General @AGJamesUthmeier has now launched a formal investigation. Florida’s laws must be fully enforced. CCP-controlled corporations have no place operating next to our ports, military assets, or critical infrastructure. Florida will not be a safe haven for the Chinese Communist Party.
