Erdogan used the UN stage to attack Israel again. The Islamist Turkish president accused Israel of “state terrorism” and demanded more international pressure on the Jewish state. He also pushed more countries to recognize a Palestinian state. Turkey is trying to gaslight the world into treating Erdogan’s obsession with Israel as legitimate foreign policy. And the UN gives him the biggest stage in international diplomacy to do it. Erdogan brings the obsession. The UN gives him the microphone.

Turkey has blocked my entire X account from being viewed in the country. Erdogan’s government is afraid of an Israeli with an X account. They can block the account in Turkey. They can’t decide what the rest of the world gets to hear. They will not intimidate me into silence. I’ll keep talking about Turkey and I’ll keep talking about Erdogan. The dictators in Tehran are flooding the Houthis with weapons through the IRGC. The Houthis are using those weapons to attack civilian ships and terrorize crews crossing some of the world’s most important trade routes. The IRGC continues helping them obtain the weapons and components they need to launch missiles and drones at ships across the region. Every shipment that gets through puts more missiles and drones in Houthi hands. Western governments keep condemning the attacks while the IRGC keeps the Houthis armed. The networks supplying the Houthis need to be dismantled and the flow of weapons needs to be cut off. Yet Western governments spend far more energy attacking Israel than confronting the regime arming terrorists and threatening their own ships.
