Thanks Scott! The measure requires all taxable net income to be taxed. This would be a strict mandate in the state constitution. State deductions and subtractions would be on the chopping block. It’s pretty straightforward. Bell Policy made a choice to do it this way. #copolitics

Blur the lines all you want, but I had nothing to do with putting NN on the ballot.
The bottom line is you're fighting to keep taxes low for your billionaire boss, and you don't care if that deprives working Coloradans of the tax cut we're offering with the graduated income tax.

Scott, I fully believe that if you were still in charge at Bell this wouldn’t have happened. But the new guy put a line in that requires all income to be taxed. That has a big impact on deductions and subtractions. And it would be in the Constitution. Voters deserve to know! #copolitics
There are plenty of valid reasons to oppose CO’s graduated tax proposal, but this slop about raising taxes on seniors & veterans is the definition of misinformation. Read the measure. You’ll find nothing that does that. It’s says a lot that this is their main talking point.

Reminder to your followers. The graduated income tax only raises taxes on taxpayers making $500,000 per year and corporations making a profit if $500,000 per year. Everyone else gets a tax cut, plus better schools, health care, and child care.
