Kano-based tailor Abdulkadir Hassan has completed a 120 hour sewing marathon in a bid to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest sewing marathon.
Throughout the five day challenge, Hassan made school uniforms for underprivileged children, turning his record attempt into an effort to support education and give back to his community.

Abduction of 20 Youth Corps Members: Insecurity Must Not Be a Norm
The abduction of approximately 20 prospective NYSC members travelling to their orientation camp is yet another distressing indication of the worsening insecurity in our country. These young Nigerians were preparing to serve their nation, but they were unable to travel safely on our roads. Families are increasingly burdened by the fear that their loved ones could fall victim to kidnapping.
Protecting lives and property is the government’s foremost responsibility. We cannot continue to regard insecurity as an ordinary occurrence or act only after people’s lives have been disrupted.
I call for the immediate and safe rescue of all the abducted corps members and the arrest of those responsible. Nigeria must become a country where young people can travel, work, and serve their nation without fear. -PO

Life no supposed hard.
There was a time we were convinced our marriage had ended. My husband and I sat down and said we are not doing again, so we came up with a plan to take care of Eden’s custody and child support because we didn’t want a messy divorce that would affect our son.
We told my mother in law first and she called us to her house. She first faced her son and gave him the insult of his life. Water don dey stand for my guy eye and I started feeling guilty so I put mouth small to defend him, na so this woman turn enter me. She gave us the combined insult of our lives, her mouth no just good at all. She left us in the parlor and went inside to sleep. I started crying because the insult really enter well well. My husband came over to comfort me and started rubbing my back, next thing I was feeling something hard.
We have two kids now. Eden and Ezer.

The hate on Dare, aka Hypeman Ita, is so unnecessary. I’ve known him for over a decade. He works at Quilox, helping with logistics at the car park and also handling security of customers’ vehicles. He earns an honest living and takes care of his family. I believe his daughter is currently a master’s student.
He does his job with a smile on his face. At some point, he started jokingly hyping the patrons of the club where he worked, and somehow the name “Hypeman Ita” stuck. That means “outside hypeman,” since there’s already a “normal” hypeman inside.
His content went viral, and the man is simply enjoying himself. I hope he doesn’t listen to any of that noise. Let the man enjoy his thing.
