He must go back to work. The same energy they used to suspend him must be used to restore him to his job.
We all saw the Adv 101 Andrea Johnson testimony at the Madlanga commission. There should never have been a charge and by extension a suspension.
It was a malicious scheme.

He seems to know a lot about police operations and police politics. How did he come to occupy such a role?
He is within the terms of reference himself based on what he was saying yesterday. The man threatened to retaliate. What did he mean by that? He must tell the commissioners.

"Following yesterday’s court proceedings involving General Sibiya was interviewed by several media houses and made certain statements and allegations which, after serious reflection and consultation, I wish to withdraw.
I acknowledge that I should have handled the matter with greater sensitivity, particularly because it involves a minor. After careful reflection and receiving advice from people who engaged with me, I recognise that I should have exercised greater restraint and responsibility in my engagement with the media.
I therefore unreservedly withdraw the statements I made and sincerely apologise to anyone who may have been affected or offended by my words. I also withdraw my remarks concerning the President, law enforcement agencies, and the Mandlanga Commission. I did not intend to threaten, harm, or intimidate anyone.
I accept full responsibility for the manner in which I handled the media engagement and sincerely apologise for my conduct.
As Nelson Mandela reminded us: “It is in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it.” I take this moment as an opportunity to reflect, learn from my actions, and contribute to a more responsible and constructive public discourse.
Going forward, I will refrain from making further public comments on this matter and allow the appropriate processes to take their course.
I sincerely apologise and thank everyone who has counselled and guided me. I respect the advice I have received and accept that, in matters of such sensitivity, restraint, responsibility and respect for due process must always guide our words and actions."

It was strange to see an agenda to protect Sibiya from the media getting footage of him sitting in the dock as an accused rapist and groomer.
Strange because there was clearly an agenda to embarrass the National Commissioner General Fannie Masemola.
Fadiel Adams and James Sharnick shared a car to gloat and mock and cast aspersions outside of court. Media was given full access to take pictures and videos. To document the fall of Masemola.
The big five cartel affiliated don’t want the treatment that they eagerly dished out on an innocent man through Project Diversion. They want to shame others but do not want the shame.
What’s truly scary is that the actions of Adv Andrea Johnson, General Feroz Khan and Paul O’Sullivan with their media allies had an agenda deeper than embarrassment.
They sought to use shame, charges and media shame to restructure the SAPS. General Masemola should be given his job back with the same energy and urgency that it was taken away.
It was always a baseless suspension.
