The Riddler is LGBTQ: Loves Giving Batman Those Quizzes

Heard an actually funny Southwest Airlines announcement for the first time in a while. After no jokes earlier in the presentation: “I am going to dim the cabin lights now, to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.” No holding for a reaction, just said and moved on. EXCELLENT.

An interesting look at a journalist trying to do something new on YouTube. Dave Jorgenson has a new, weekly show, "What's Your Source?" The program, says Jorgenson, is “kind of like ‘Last Week Tonight,’ but more journalism-forward.”

Absolute Batman is the product of a mass shooting. Superman is fighting corporations abusing laborers. Wonder Woman is practicing radical empathy. This is a new era of @DCOfficial. Read the feature with the creators & fans @RollingStone

I had a bit about Looney Tunes make the rounds a few months ago. Eric Bauza not only reached out to say he loved it(a very kind and thoughtful gesture) but he also left me this voice memo. I listen to it a lot. RIP. What a talent. What a loss.

elmo doing a pretty decent lorne michaels impression is making me lose my mind

Thank you Eric for giving our favorites their “voice.” His excitement and love for them was always evident, his passion undeniable. Saddened to hear of this sudden, tragic news. My heart and thoughts are with Eric’s family and loved ones. RIP Eric Bauza.

So deeply heartbreaking. Just saw Eric Bauza at Dynasty Typewriter 3 weeks ago; he was so talented, sharp, kind, and hilarious. My condolences to everyone impacted by his amazing work as a voice artist, and as a human being. May his memory be a blessing.

Audiences have spoken!!! #2 And #DCStudios seems to have pulled it off, as moviegoers are melted by #DCU’s first R-rated body horror #CLAYFACE, giving the villain an SPECTACULAR A- #CinemaScore, extremely rare for horrors, let alone R-rated ones, and best ever for body horror films. Twitter might be the only place that you can state a 7 time Eisner award winning writer is a “good writer” and get flooded with comments saying you’re insane for thinking this.

Sacha Baron Cohen says Marvel worried about casting a Jewish actor as the devil Mephisto because it could be perceived as antisemitic. “It was a wonderful meeting when I was offered it. It was primarily, I think, an almost entirely Black producing and directing team. And they said, ‘We want to offer you Mephisto, but we are aware of the negative association of Jews historically with the devil, and we want to make sure that you’re not insulted by us offering this.’ It was such an amazingly considerate, empathetic thing to say. And I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’ I think for the Jews out there, sometimes we don’t feel seen. We don’t feel like people can empathize with us, that we are suffering too. And so to have this entirely Black producing and directing team be so empathetic was a moment of being seen. It was an amazing experience.” wp.me/pc8uak-1lHZPz
