A primary reason that drove me to where I’m at today. Hindsight. Me complaining about $10 extra is pretty insane by today’s standards. I’ve learned A LOT over these short 3-5 years, but I’ll still continue to stand by my word of continuing to offer at or near MSRP products when and as often as I can (including products like the 30th). I’ve seen a lot of individuals come and go in support of my growing business. I’m not here for short term/bandwagon customers. I’m here to establish and grow a community where we can all AFFORDABLY enjoy these hobbies.

Me just venting because it’s extremely frustrating. 151 UPC are $119.99 MOST places. Even cheaper online. Figured I’d support my LCS tomorrow so I called them and asked what they were selling them for figuring it would be a couple $ cheaper than Walmart, BestBuy, or GameStop. Nope, $129.99. I don’t get it, is this just normal for LCS being more expensive than big box stores? It’s so frustrating being in a place where the LCS around me are so money hungry. I get it, they have overhead with a physical shop, but still. Sorry vent over 😅!

You support your customer in the good times, your customers will support you in the bad times. I’ve already cut-off a few shops that have shown their true colors the last 2 years. When this bubble pops, I guarantee you’ll be in a better spot then they are.

That’s the thing, even if you can’t support my business financially all the time, that’s fine. I just want people to know they have a place in any capacity through me! Obviously, I need to pay bills and such, but I’ve met so many fantastic people on here and even just chatting with y’all has been great!

We’re lucky to have a couple LCS around us and only one is egregious with their markups. Refuse to support them. The worst is when they get distribution and mark it up to market price. They’re jerks on top of everything else. Makes it easy to ignore them lol
