A useful new piece of infrastructure for Mina builders 🔐
This FROST-based Multisig lets teams distribute control of sensitive actions, like verification key updates, without relying on a single private key, and importantly, without a multisig contract that can break across a hard fork.
Now independently audited, open source, and available for the wider Mina ecosystem to build on.
Mina's chain upgrades can force every zkApp to rotate its verification key, and a regular multisig would brick trying to keep up.
@VeridiseInc reviewed how Mina Multisig solves that with FROST, tracked on AuditHub, before @nori_zk shipped it on @MinaProtocol.
Now open source for any Mina team building wallet or self-custody tooling.

This was the last end-to-end rehearsal, mirroring Mainnet conditions and serving as a confidence check before the upgrade. Mesa has been deployed in full, and node operators, developers and exchanges are invited to test their infrastructure against the network.

@nori_zk will be the first to put it into production, with the audited implementation available for the wider Mina ecosystem to build on.
