If your income depends on constant effort, you don’t have wealth. You have a job you built for yourself. Wealth begins when your work compounds without you.

You don’t get rid of emotions by fighting them; you outgrow them by letting go of your attachment to them.

You're not paid to monitor Slack. You're paid to solve problems. A simple system: Turn off ALL notifications. Check messages in 3 scheduled "communication blocks." (10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM). In between, do the deep work you're actually paid for. You just reclaimed your focus.

When I started walking 12,000 steps a day, my back screamed for rest. pain was so bad I couldn't even carry my laptop. But I persisted. Slowly, my body began to adapt, and my back grew stronger to support the new routine. Initial discomfort is often the price of adaptation.
