From over 1 million followers to less than 880k... 😬
No wonder they are becoming the prime example of what NOT to do.

Congratulations @Love_Deepspace on your anti-achievement! You've managed to go from 1,020,000 followers on Instagram to less than 880,000 since cancelling Valko.
You know what could fix this? 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒐 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌.

I'm so confused, did I miss something?
I see so many posts today about this "toxic fandom" and the "fandom is rotting"...
Is it because I say "thank you" to my Alexa when I set my alarm?
Is Grok protecting me in solidarity?
I see nothing but art, lore discussions, horniness, gaming talk, and people's food/nature pictures.
I sincerely hope some of the positivity I see spreads to other feeds as well.

This is a very on point, thoughtful article.
I love that the author mentioned the hope for Valko to return as well as the good works and positive publicity the fandom has done in his name. 💚

Love and Deepspace Blade Runner 2049 crossover is a cool addition to the otome game's romantic universe, but it didn't take long for fans of the game to notice an uncomfortable parallel between the lead character's AI companion, Joi, and the cancelled character Valko. bit.ly/4k3aPRt

The reason why antis can't stop talking about Valko 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘓&𝘋𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘹. They're scared they'll fall in love with him if (when) he comes back. But that's okay. #LoveIsSix #LADSis6 & no one can take him away from us truly.

This is interesting...
It would be immersive, no MC as YOU are the MC and it's seen through your eyes.
The studio looks new, and I'd bet there is backing from a source we don't see yet.
Where this is a good thing is any new game in a style like this will bring competition for LADS. Competition means they listen to players, expand to stay fresh, and innovate or they'll lose to those willing to provide.
And supposedly not AI.
(This first lead reminds me of a combo of Sylus and Valko. 🐦⬛🐺)

Definitely a contractual obligation for LADS.
Blade Runner 2099 comes out next month.
I guarantee this release timing was scheduled as promotional hype for both LADS and Bladerunner.
They are not mocking us with this.
They are not saying Valko isn't coming back.
Sometimes... things just align in weird ways. What they may have intended as the original meaning behind the collab has taken a new shift with Valko’s cancellation. Now we see the meaning differently.
Our love for Valko is real. 💚
#ValkoIsLoved
#WaitingForValko
ik there's a good collection of people crashing out about this collab but omg you guys. it was almost certainly a contractual obligation to run at a certain time, considering there's probably also an offline component. it's fine, it has zero impact on any Valko scheduling <3
feel your feelings, of course! but don't start sinking into "they're disrespecting us" or "this means Valko can't come back until (whatever made up date)", and don't let people use your feelings to push you into doing something foolish
Don't worry about the rumours, babes! Keep boycotting, keep posting and talking and arting and writing, the revenue will take care of everything else.

That's an interesting connection.
And this collab with LADS had to be in the works at least 6+ months, so...
The plot thickens.
Or we're all being absolutely messed with.
Probably both.

"Why is @Love_Deepspace doing a collab with a movie that came out 9 years ago and had two games in production cancelled (at both Supermassive AND Annapurna) last year?"

In light of Infold’s announcements today, I’m moving this giveaway back by a few days.
Players of color deserve to be seen and celebrated. Today’s collaboration news has understandably created a great deal of conversation, and I don’t want this giveaway...or the people it's intended to highlight... to be overshadowed in the middle of it. Giving everyone a few days to absorb the news feels like the most thoughtful choice.
I care deeply about this community and the people in it, and I’ll always do my best to give moments like this the care and attention they deserve. 🩷
One thing I'm really excited about with some upcoming giveaways is adding more representation for our players of color.
MC and LI merch often has very few options featuring an MC of color, and I'd love to see that change.
I've been reaching out and acquiring some artwork and merch that will let me occasionally offer giveaways featuring MCs of color, so more players in the LADS community can have merch that reflects them too.
The first will feature MC and Xavier and will take place on the 17th. ⭐️
Just as LADS is 6LI, LADS is all of us.

Good thing is - this will all rerun.

I love nature programs, and I especially enjoy the way @bertiegregory brings information, awareness, and positivity to them.
And... wolves! 🐺
When worlds and interests overlap, beautiful things can happen... Valko may come from a game, but the curiosity he inspires about wolves and their conservation is very real. I'm excited to learn more and keep those good things going!
Thank you @NatGeo for creating content that keeps us engaged with the natural world. 💚
#ValkoIsLoved
Keeping up with a pack of hunting wolves is just another day at the office for @bertiegregory and his team.
#WolvesUpClose with Bertie Gregory premieres Friday, November 6 at 8/7c on National Geographic. Streaming on @DisneyPlus and @hulu.

It's so sad how people can steal and twist things for selfish purposes. I hope the creators do pursue whoever is abusing the intent of their creations.
