Our Language is Not “Ringworm” In 1882, those who fought for the preservation of the Yoruba language against English Colonisation in Lagos were called “Yoruba Maniacs”. It’s 2026 and history is repeating itself.

Some people still ask why Lagosians want Yoruba leadership in Lagos. Let me show you Oshodi-Isolo II. In 2023, this dude Okey-Joe Onuakalusi won this seat on the LP wave and won by 29k votes, Yoruba votes included. In May 2026, he published his own list of beneficiaries for overseas training: Majority of them were Igbo. The few Yoruba names look made up eg a fellow named Samuel Ajayi Crowther. In Oshodi, a constituency full of Yoruba youths looking for opportunities. None of you guys shouting tribalism have criticised this. Do you not see how terrible this is? Is it tribalism to call out bad behaviour? Do you want to turn Lagosians to slaves in their own land?

It is the sacred responsibility of every Yoruba man or woman regardless of state of origin to ensure that Lagos remains firmly in the hands of Yoruba people. Awolowo dedicated his entire life to this and we must fulfill our obligations.

Why must a Yoruba person endure anti-Yoruba rhetorics from you to prove that he/she wants APC out?? So to prove he wants APC out, a Yoruba guy has to agree that Lagos is no Man’s Land and if he doesn’t then he’s for APC? To prove he wants APC out, he/she must agree that all bigots are bad but Harry, the one against Yorubas is the good one? To prove he wants APC out, he must agree with you that Lagos voting APC means Yorubas love APC but Enugu voting APC is different?

People wey na only 1.2m votes them get for the entire region somehow think they can effect the election, lmao peak delusion. I’ve never seen a more delusional set of people clustered in one piece of land
The question is simple: why should anyone think that Peter Obi will move from third place to first place now that President Tinubu is already in power and performing excellently?

Southwest development plan: 1. Lagos has been developed. 2. Attention has shifted to Ogun. 3. Ondo comes next. 4. Then Osun. 5. Ekiti follows. Then, connect all the states by rail. The SW would become Africa’s most developed region by 2040. May God help our leaders.

Lol. I am sorry, if you know how useless @BOGbadams is, you wouldn’t waste a second engaging him on social media. A total waste of carbon. Please ease up on him @tokunbo_wahab . You can spend the time watching football or watching paint dry. Babatunde is unworthy. Person wey dem chase comot for house. If you DM him to send his account details, he will reply within two seconds. I am happy for him though, with this election, he fit raise like N5m hold body. Alaru ni bobo yen. E shile.
You really came late to the party, but now that you’re here, let me educate you, and that’s not to say your opinion bothers me. No. You or your opinion don’t! The tweet you quoted was a response to your demigod @BOGbadams, who said he would ask his people to find out about my wristwatch. I simply gave him the details; perhaps ‘his people’ will now help him complete the investigation. By the way, it is actually a poverty mentality to think that anyone in public service does not, or must not, have a life before their appointment. It is really a pity!

One would think this bastard is supporting one generational candidate. Na obi of 13month Dr strike e Dey support o. This bastard lost his voice when Arthur Eze declared his support for this present govt o. Yoruba but aye iya yin ti baje.
Going through the comment section, you'll realize why Nigerians deserve their leaders. These billionaires supporting a bad government are making money off the average Nigerian but everyday, these same Nigerians are busy worshipping these men because they have money. I shouldn't involve his children but due to his backing, support, and influence, he's able to campaign for a corrupt government which end up causing the lives of innocent citizens but I'm the problem? Bunch of lowlifes worshipping your oppressors while languishing in abject poverty. You all will eventually get what you deserve.

This is not a fair comparison by the way. Dangote is a manufacturing plant and not an oil company. You can't pay upstream salaries on downstream margins. Oil companies( Aradel, seplat ) staff are mostly reservoir engineers, geologists, offshore OIMs.. 80% are graduates, many expats on dollar contracts. 60% Dangote refinery workforce are technicians, welders, plant operators, lab assistants, drivers, safety officers, warehouse staff. Those roles are critical but are paid at manufacturing scale in Nigeria, not IOC scale.
Dangote refinery data showed it employees median wage is among the lowest if listed under the 🇳🇬 oil and gas category in the stock market
