Grateful🙌🏾🙏🏽
Today was the day I almost died, six years ago.
It was the day my brain haemorrhage changed everything and I went into a coma. Don't want to say much, except that when I look back, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for life.
I was fortunate to have people who prayed for me, cared for me and stood by me through those difficult days. But today, I am also incredibly proud of where I am and of how far I have come since then.
More than anything, I have learnt not to take life, health or even an ordinary day lightly. We spend so much of our lives worrying about everything else, when perhaps nothing is more important than being healthy and being here.
So today, I am just extremely, extremely grateful. Grateful for life, grateful for my health and grateful for the journey that brought me to where I am today.
And I only have one thing to say: always always prioritise your health; everything else can wait 🙏
