In Dec 2023, I randomly decided to do a road trip across West Africa solo. I started in Lagos then passed through Benin. Continued to Togo, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea-Conakry then took the ferry to Freetown Sierra leone then back to Lagos

Everyone has definitely reasons for their fitness goals. My own is travel. I want to be able to hike and climb anywhere. Waterfalls, mountain view points, ancient ruins, i wanna be there.
If i get a banging body in the process, that’s really only a by-product.

Interestingly how I fold my clothes when I travel is exactly how I learned from her 14 years ago. She had a method for every single piece of clothing. She would then roll them compactly. No single thread out of place. Everything fit. Her box looking like it was going on display

I spent my 20s struggling. When I say struggling, I mean struggling. I saw every side of it. And one thing I’ve realized is that you have to make a decision yourself for when you want to stop struggling. If you don’t consciously make it, you will never escape the struggle.

I actually found out how beautiful Pakistan is through Moe. I did my own research and eventually followed some Pakistani tour guides, and I was so surprised to see how different it is from what movies had painted it as.
This hike took me 5 hours and all the self respect i had. I think I nearly cried during the climb. Well worth it.
