J’ai toujours trouvé ça extrêmement indécent et hypocrite de faire preuve d’un tel patriotisme et de célébrer son pays avec autant de ferveur quand on s’est soi-même installé en Occident pour échapper aux réalités politiques, économiques et sociales de ce même pays.
Aimer sa culture, son histoire, ses traditions, sa langue, évidemment. Mais célébrer l’indépendance d’un État encore structurellement dépendant depuis son appartement à New York, tout en ayant choisi de partir précisément pour échapper à ces réalités… Bffrl 😂.
