We listen to feedback, and one thing we kept hearing was that requesting work on Modulr.Gig needed to be simpler.
So we simplified it.
Instead of making you dig through categories, filters, and pages trying to figure out where to start, we integrated our AI agents directly into the Request experience.
Just tell it what you need done in plain English.
“I need a bed frame assembled.”
“My yard is getting out of hand.”
“I need a deep clean before I move out.”
Our agents can help understand what you’re looking for and point you toward the right services available in your area.
Don’t worry, you can still browse around normally too. Think of this as having a customer service rep sitting right there with you, ready to help you find the right service when you need it.

This is something I want to expand across Modulr wherever possible: let people see and explore the platform first, then sign up when they actually need an account.

3/ Bench is also coming back into active development.
Bench is a tool inside Modulr.Gig designed for documenting repeatable work, repairs, manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and other step-by-step procedures.
Think structured work instructions combined with a community knowledge base.
You can document how something was repaired, the steps that were performed, components that were replaced, symptoms that were discovered, and what ultimately corrected the problem.
Over time, those repair logs can become reusable knowledge for the next person working on the same type of equipment.
I’m starting with electronics because that’s a natural fit for the system, but the structure can apply to almost anything involving repeatable procedures and troubleshooting.

4/ I’ve also added an early Developer section inside Modulr.Core.
This introduces API keys that will eventually allow developers to build applications and services on top of Modulr infrastructure.
It’s still very early. Right now the API is mostly focused on basic account information such as credit balances.
But the longer-term goal remains the same as it has always been:
Modulr shouldn’t just be something you use.
It should be something you can build on.

Developer Update
It’s been a little while since my last update, but development on Modulr has continued.
A few things I’ve been working on recently:
• Simplified the profile menu across parts of the platform
• Opened Modulr.Gig listings to everyone, no account required to browse
• Continued development of Bench, our repair and process documentation system
• Added the early foundation for developer API access inside Modulr.Core

Developer update on Modulr
I wanted to share a quick update on what I’ve been working on.
Recent progress includes:
- Search other user's Hubs (in the core app), so users can find other people in their communities more easily
- A peer-to-peer video feature, so people can talk one-on-one directly inside the platform
- A tracker system for jobs requested in Gig, to make it easier to follow activity and progress
These features are still in development, but work is continuing.
As mentioned previously, development is moving at a much slower pace than before, but I’m still building and I’ll do my best to share updates regularly. Going forward, I’ll aim to post developer updates on a roughly weekly basis whenever I have meaningful progress to share.
More to come.

An important update from Modulr.
After a great deal of consideration, Modulr is entering a much slower phase of development.
At this time, all employees have been released from their roles, including myself as the founder, and we will all be pursuing employment elsewhere.
This was not an easy decision.

Importantly, we did not remove all liquidity.
We deliberately left liquidity in the market so MDR can continue trading and so the community still has the opportunity to participate in the project.
We could have removed everything.
We chose not to.
We believe the remaining project and the opportunity surrounding it should still have a chance to continue beyond us.

To everyone who supported Modulr, built with us, tested with us, created content, held MDR, challenged us, or simply believed that what we were trying to build mattered, thank you.
This is not the outcome we wanted.
But it is also not the end of the technology.
Modulr is slowing down.
It is not stopping.
We will be winding down our X organization presence over the coming days. This thread is intended to serve as our final formal statement, and we do not expect to provide individual responses regarding this decision.
We sincerely wish every member of this community the very best.

We have a new TradingView indicator: Modulr Flow
Flow tracks money flow across the market so you can see when volume and momentum are strengthening, weakening, or shifting before you make a trade.
It’s another way to answer a simple question:
Is there actually enough participation behind this move?

We've officially selected 2 of our 3 winners, but Ashley and I are still debating who should take that final spot. There were a lot of great submissions, so this is taking us a little longer than we originally expected.

We did it again! Here comes another tool inside Modulr, we call it Flow.
Modulr.Crypto is now starting to show you what’s happening around the price.
So far we’ve added Coinbase Level 2 liquidity data to Flow, letting you visualize where liquidity is sitting in the market and how it changes over time.
Coinbase is just the beginning. We’ll be adding additional exchanges and liquidity sources so you can get a broader view of what’s happening across the market.
