So sadly, fostering Maple has been sweet and not so sweet. That mum likes her a lot. But I don't. I am stressed, not eating properly, hiding and subdued and it's because Maple goes for me as she sees me as vulnerable I guess. So, unfortunately, she won't be staying.. ufff.

We are NOT impressed with this new kitty in da house - miss Maple is very hissy and growly and that made me growly. And I actually ran off and skulk past her room.
That mum assured me I'm still 'top cat', but I dunno, she seems scary to me.

Happy 12 year adoptaversary to me! Wowzer - can't believe that mum brought me home 12 years ago today - here's my first evening in my forever home. And boy, how I totally changed her life for the better.

Luna is home!
Her eye looks so much better & she’s purring.
She does look and feel rather gaunt but her weight has been trending downwards over the last few months. Treats incoming!
Thank you again for those who donated. That mum settled a further final bill of £260 today. 🙏🏽🩷

An update on Luna: she’s doing ok and should come home on Tuesday… hopefully. Her eye looks loads better. Although she’s still not eating lots.
That mum visits every day and she’s always happy to see her.

1/3: Chandie is home. We feel not quite her old self but definitely most of the way there. She is on a probiotic powder for a further eight days and we will see how she goes. Luna is still in the vets on IV antibiotics and will remain there for at least another 3 or 4 days..

2/3: Her eye looks a lot better but there is clearly some blockage possibly due to the nasal polyp or whatever is there, because she has some swelling around her sinuses. She's still not eating very much but always enjoys treats when that mum visits.

Chandie is coming home today! Tested negative for Giardia & different food has seemed to sort her out.
Luna is apparently 'improving' but needs to stay in 2-3 more days for monitoring.
Uffff.

It was too long to write in a tweet, so here's an update on the girls. That mum says it's weird only having me at home.. but it means I get undivided attention.
I do have some diarrhoea myself, so depending on Chandie's diagnosis, I may also need to be treated.

Update time!
Luna - is stable but now only eating dry food and churus and we feel declining, but slowly.
I seem to have the diarrhoea that Chandie had - oh dear. And she still has it - so... maybe vets if it persists.
Otherwise we are ok and.. it rained yesterday - yay!
