Paying with Monero at a business is simply not ideal without a payment processor.
A payment processor allows a unique subaddress to be created which ties to an order invoice from a business.
It glues the payment to an internal system such that a payment to the subaddress is for a customer’s order.
There are many of these. Some are custodial and are free to use but require a processing fee and have an order minimum. Others are self-hosted with ongoing costs but have no fee or minimum.
Being your own bank is effectively free in crypto but being your own payment processor is not.
BTCPay Server is clearly the most popular choice but it’s entirely possible to build your own payment processor.
