In hindsight, thinking about UPL and his play. Tbh Tage and others have not been good. So I guess I shouldn't expect him to be on his A game so early in the season. Tage is missing the goal and yet I jump on UPL. Ill try my best to keep that in mind.

Is Lindy Ruff too friendly with the players to make changes? UPL should have been pulled after 3 in the first game, and I don't blame him for trying UPL again for the home opener, but once he lets in 3 goals in 9 shots...you have to stop being friends and play the odds.

I don't know what to make of Radim Mrtka. It seems like he isn't comfortable playing. Not an unhealthy way, just seems like he is not playing confident. Feels like he is holding back on how he should be playing.

With all that is happening with american star players wanting to play in their country, let's bring every Canadian star player into Canada and win a cup every year until the end of time.

If a player in the NHL has a no-trade list of however many teams, if they request to be traded out then that list should be null and void.

I think if the Sabres do go after Hellebuyck, they have to come down even atleast 1 player than their last offer. I would do 2027 1st, UPL, and Quinn. Thats it. Take it or leave it.

That layout for Sportnets trade/ufa tracker is aweful. I do like all the info they provide but I don't even get to see the players full name. I don't like it at all. NHL.com has an even worse interface but they have used the same one for years.

After seeing Jarmo mention UPL and the 3 goalie rotation, pretty sure he is running it back. So stop saying the 4th AND UPL AND Kulich or Ostlund for Hellebuyck. That idea is a gross overpayment and it will never happen

If I knew years ago, Casey Mittlestadt was gonna be traded 1 for 1 for Byram, who would then in turn be flipped (with Greenway) for pick 4, 45 and Cavier. Seeing Mittlestadt was traded to Boston after a few months makes this a pretty sweet swing.

Ohhhh...didn't know that this is the year that 6.5 mil from the Skinner buy-out kicks in. That would have freed up enough to make a lot of contracts work.

I think a lot of Sabres media are overhyping Robert Thomas (STL), he might be good but not good for what STL and the Sabres media (one specifically) want to let go for him. He is 27 (Will be 28 before season begins. His numbers aren't that good, they will certainly go up with Buf

Rob Ray, I like that they got you to hit the drum, but you need a faster beat on the 3 followup hits. Sandra Jeanneret hit it better.

Proud of what the Sabres accomplished this year. Can't wait until next year when they have some most of the regulars back, and a few new faces I expect will be full timers. Congrats to Montreal Canadiens.

I'm very proud of the #sabrehood Buffalo Sabres this year. I thought they had this game tbh as they were all over Montreal since the halfway point of the 2nd period.
