ALT Genesee County presents the Legacy Trails network. Over 200 miles connected trails throughout Flint and Genesee County, created to connect residents to core community services, including parks, schools, grocery stores and libraries. The Flint and Genesee County five-year strategic trails plan establishes a unified vision for a safe, connected, and accessible non-motorized network linking communities across the county. ALT Once the Legacy Trails network is completed, more than 180,000 people will live within 1 mile of a non-motorized trail. The trail network also will connect: 23 Genesee County communities, 2 state parks, 151 other types of parks and 89 schools. Learn more at geneseetrails.com. ALT Genesee County and Grand Blanc Township invite you to celebrate the completion of the Embury-Cook Road Trail. Join us for a community celebration and ribbon cutting! Date: Wednesday, Sept. 2. Time: 5 p.m. Location: Near Mount Hope Church on Embury Road. The Embury-Cook Road Trail, spanning 1.28 miles, is part of the Legacy Trails network, which--once completed--will connect roughly 200 miles of non-motorized trails throughout Flint and Genesee County.
