then it would make sense that the money for Avatar would be redirected to the Matterhorn/Tomorrowland project (if such a thing exists). The question is, how long would this take and will it be in progress during the 75th?
The rumor that at #Disneyland the #Matterhorn will be demolished and rebuilt is unlikely to happen. Assuming that occurred it could amount to a $800 million+ project with the ride and surrounding development.

I knew an older lady about 20 years ago who grew up in Anaheim and she used to say that she would watch Walt Disney build the Matterhorn with his bare hands from her backyard. Anyway, seems plausible that the papier-mâché mountain may need a full rebuild after 70 years.
