One of the things I wish I had learned earlier is to beat your own drum.
Be your biggest cheerleader. Talk about your work. Celebrate your wins. Make sure people know what you’re building.
Because no one will champion you the way you can champion yourself. People will gladly build on your work, leverage your ideas, and use what you’ve created to build themselves so don’t be afraid to make sure you’re seen and recognised for what you bring to the table.
You have to learn to tell your own story.

Another big win from the Spiral grant program is the sheer number of alum who have gone on to do bigger and better things in bitcoin. More than 20 have found full-time jobs at bitcoin companies large and small, and many have started their own bitcoin company. The Spiral grant program is a springboard for many, including the cofounder of Frostsnap.

Our DADA Devs builders recently took their work to @btcplusplus Nairobi, bringing their technical skills, projects, and perspectives into the wider Bitcoin developer ecosystem.
This is what the DADA Devs journey is about: not simply learning Bitcoin development, but building with it.
At BTC++, our builders engaged directly with the developer community, showcased their work, contributed to technical conversations, connected with other builders, and participated in an ecosystem that is actively shaping the future of Bitcoin.

There should be a holiday for the day each year when we renew @pavlenex’s grant, which we’ve done since 2020: Pavmas, Pavsgiving, Pavlentine’s Day. During it, observers would wear moldy sweatpants and give one another tiny Spiral grants for work that only exists in the abstract.

Nick Johnson's goal was to "become a rust-bitcoin contributor or maintainer." He is now a rust-bitcoin maintainer working on stabilizing the crates that half of bitcoin's Rust ecosystem sits on. His job is to make sure nothing interesting ever happens to these crates again.

Today, we are releasing BTCPay Server v2.4.3-rc4, a security update addressing vulnerabilities reported by the Bitcoin Red Team, @ProjectLoupe, @MagicGrants, @Premai_io, and independent researchers.
This release follows several days of nonstop work, review, and testing. It was built from our temporary private security repository, but to make these security fixes available as quickly as possible, we are releasing the Docker image publicly now.
This is a release candidate, so bugs may still be present. NFC is now opt-in, and the Phoenixd plugin is temporarily incompatible with this release. Please report any issues to the team. We will document behavioral changes within the main release.
Despite its RC status, we strongly recommend upgrading now using the standard process:
Server Settings > Maintenance > Update
or run or run btcpay-update(.)sh from the command line, removing the parentheses
If no significant issues are reported, the release candidate will be tagged as v2.4.3 and fully open-sourced within the next 48 hours.
