According to a few online sources, Near Dark, released on this day in 1987, is getting the TV treatment courtesy of A24.
If ever there was a movie that had enough material and lore to create a whole TV series, it's Near Dark.
There's so much history there: Jesse claiming he "fought for the South" during the American Civil War, and Severen suggesting he and Jesse started the Great Chicago Fire of 1871.
If it takes us up to (but not into) the events of Near Dark, I'd love for it to be narrated by Lance Henriksen.

We get it, we think it sucks
What’s not to get in AHS? Satan needs souls to restore his full potential. The returning characters are either being sacrificed or doing his bidding. The witches are there to save the world like they did in Apocalypse when they changed the timeline. Ben is Santana’s son. Simple…

I wanna see @JackQuaid92 do a parody of this scene.

i'm a huge horror fan but one of my biggest complaints about them is when they show me disturbing imagery
The shot in Obsession of Sarah’s dead body in the house is the image that’s lingered with me from that movie the most because of how misogynistic and mean-spirited it is. Basically every time I think about that movie I like it less

Horror is my comfort food but I want it to be problematic and unsafe.
Interesting to see a new type of horror fan take shape. Horror as "comfort food." They want their horror to be wholly "unproblematic," for everything on screen to align with their view points, and for it all to be safe, cozy & clean-spirited. But horror is not safe! By design!

First time directing and starring. This one’s the most personal film I’ve ever made.
Can’t wait for you to see it.

The bar is so low on this godforsaken site that I gotta give massive props to a man that was wrong about how welled planned Breaking Bad was and him going "Alright man I was wrong I just wanted to say that the show is great."

First ever Pac match I ever watched was him vs @FightOwensFight, it was on the first PWG Sells Out set. I watched this like 7 months into getting into wrestling and I loved the match and became fans of both men that day. Pac hit a frankensteiner on Steen and he went "Ow my ass!"

That wasn’t REALLY a Resident Evil movie. It was more like [describes something in a movie that has been replicated in 10 different Resident Evil games]

Fun Fact: Supergirl (5) got a higher spot on the Nielsen's then The Runner (10). Actually when Peacemaker got number 10 on the Nielsen's I was told it was a failure so I guess The Runner failed too. I don't believe that but god damn did it suck as a movie.

Bro found a random guy that doesn't like the DCAU Superman and was like "I can't believe ALL Gunn Fans hate the DCAU Superman!".

I legit feel sick right now, this sucks so much I don't even have the words. I'm just gonna watch his matches for the rest of the day.
