Recess isn’t a reward. It’s a reset. Kids aren’t just “burning energy.” They’re calming their nervous system. They’re learning how to breathe again. They’re letting go of the stress they can’t put into words. For some kids, running is therapy. Playing is regulation. Movement is medicine. This morning 49 excited pupils & 7 dedicated staff members waved goodbye to Penketh and set off on a week-long adventure to the snowy slopes of Austria! From first-time skiers to slope superstars, it’s going to be a week of snowploughs, hot chocolates, & unforgettable memories ✨
