Our partnership with Nutrition International continues to deliver life saving interventions for children and mothers across Sokoto State. From the annual distribution of over 2.1 million Vitamin A capsules to strengthening treatment for childhood diarrhoea through Zinc & ORS support, we remain committed to protecting the future of our people.
Our administration has also invested ₦100 million in child survival initiatives, deployed over 1,500 nurses and midwives to rural communities, and recruited 2,400 Community Health Workers to strengthen primary healthcare delivery.
A healthy population is the greatest asset any society can have. We will continue to prioritize nutrition, maternal and child healthcare, and strategic partnerships that guarantee a healthier, stronger, and more productive Sokoto State for generations to come. -AAS
