This will never end without an arms embargo on Israel. There's no "deal ", no "agreement", no "resolution" without disarming Israel. It's a 100+ years violent conflict, you think it goes away with words when Israel is still fully armed? No. It's genocide or disarmament of Israel.

This public healthcare facility—which the Ministry had diligently refurbished and equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology to serve as a lifeline and a safe haven for displaced residents and those steadfastly remaining in border areas—is now facing systematic destruction that reveals a profound moral bankruptcy and deep-seated criminality. The occupation forces did not merely occupy the facility previously and convert it into a military barracks; they have now gone so far as to burn it down completely, thereby depriving the people of the South of their most basic human rights to medical treatment and healthcare.
The Ministry asserts that targeting medical institutions and healthcare personnel constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a blatant violation of international conventions. I have to admit that never in my dreams did I imagine that people who claim to be pro-Palestine would look down on me or accuse me of naivety simply because I expressed my disappointment with Finkelstein’s response to a question.
These people are willing to police, talk over, suppress, and even delegitimize a Palestinian who survived the genocide and documented it firsthand, simply to defend a figure I did not even attack. I didn’t even offer any serious critique of the issues on which we may disagree.
Somehow, it became Mosab vs. Norman.
No one is above reproach or critique, whether they are Palestinian or someone who has advocated for the rights of the Palestinian people for more than 40 years.
What happened today has left me deeply concerned. If this is how some people in the pro-Palestine movement treat a Palestinian, then I worry about the future of Palestine.
This sickens me. In the long run, dismissing Palestinian voices, reflections, and hopes, i fear, will only hurt, and perhaps ultimately undermine, the Palestinian people’s struggle to liberate themselves.

Removing every shred of support from the genocidal apartheid state of Israel and, in turn, from anyone who supports the Israeli state is NOT a "purity test" or "making the perfect the enemy of the good."
There's no acceptable position other than unambiguously fighting to end this holocaust and the horrific occupation.
At a bare minimum, this means that elected officials claiming to be pro-Palestinian must not endorse Zionist politicians funding this holocaust.
It's an objective fact that most of the DSA-endorsed leaders fail to meet even this basic standard. History will not absolve them for this any more than those silent during the Nazi Holocaust. Those of us fighting against the horrors in Gaza and the West Bank cannot look the other way out of some false idea of "left unity."

The op-ed asks the pro-Palestine movement to condemn Hamas. This would have exactly zero influence on Hamas, which continues to exist despite being a proscribed terrorist organization (by law) that is universally condemned by all mainstream institutions in the U.S. and Europe. Virtually ALL of the pro-Palestine movement's central demands, in both the U.S. and Europe, are ignored by their own governments. We're supposed to believe the movement's influence on Hamas is greater than our influence on our own elected governments? No, not a chance. What condemnation will do, however, is give Israel the brightest green light the world has ever seen to continue its destruction of Palestine and its people. The op-ed is propaganda that attempts to convert authentic support for Palestine into the very same "justification [Israel] has used for decades to restrict the free movement of people and trade and to treat Gaza as an occupied nation", and, even more sinisterly, justification for the resumption of unrestricted slaughter. Fuck that. Fuck Israel. Free Palestine.

He said: "If the image in the video were enlarged, there is a gap between two branches where my sister Umm Muhammad can be seen, wearing her prayer shawl, holding a Kalashnikov, firing toward the bus, and defending her husband after she took up arms following the occupation's aircraft bombing her son during his clash with the force. Her son was hit by three bullets in his chest, then bombed. At that moment, the special forces thought the mission was over — but my sister surprised them and engaged them in combat."
He added: "The gunfire shown in the video was not directed at Abu Muhammad, but rather toward my sister. Confirmed: yesterday, the heroic wife of the security officer in Gaza engaged the invading 'israeli' force and defended her family until martyrdom.
'Umm Muhammad, Samah Al-Khalidi, was martyred while engaging in combat, firing in defence of her husband, "Al-Arabid," who was arrested during the mission.
