My motion just passed supporting Unite union water service workers in their campaign to protect their employment terms & conditions post transfer to Irish Water and their call for Gov to commit to a date for a referendum on the public ownership of water infrastructure & services.

The unions have tripped themselves up. The no change in terms and conditions committment that they are obliged to protect will put them on a collision course with IW , the Department and the LA's .They've left themselves with very little wriggle room. Interesting times ahead.
