We gathered in the cinema to watch “The Last Seed” a documentary exploring broad themes around the state of food & agriculture in Africa in the 21st century. The film provided a fitting opportunity to reflect & consider the lived experiences of the people who produce our food 2/4

The last two weeks have been busy and exciting as we prepare for the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Dialogues and Exhibition, taking place from 23–24 September 2026 at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre. 1/3

As part of the commemoration of World Breastfeeding Week, the newly elected Mayor of Keetmanshoop, Emrico Blaauw, along with senior medical staff from Keetmanshoop State Hospital, presented donations of baby essentials to 20 mothers in the hospital's maternity ward on Thursday. The annual World Breastfeeding Week, which runs from 1 to 7 August, aims to promote, protect, and support breastfeeding while raising awareness about the health benefits of breastfeeding for both babies and mothers. The gift packs contained baby essentials, including baby clothes, nutrients, nappies, and fruits and information materials for the mothers.
