Over a 25-year NASCAR career, Kyle Busch established himself as one of the sport’s most accomplished drivers, earning two NASCAR Cup Series championships and 234 victories across NASCAR’s three national series—the most in history. Known for his competitive spirit and determination behind the wheel, Busch’s career includes 63 Cup Series victories, a record 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series wins and 69 Craftsman Truck Series victories. To celebrate his accomplishments and lasting impact on the sport, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is honoring Busch’s legacy through its latest exhibit, Kyle Busch: Honoring A Legacy. The exhibit features Busch’s No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry, the car he drove to his first Cup Series championship in 2015, along with stories highlighting his career achievements and his role as a mentor who helped develop and launch the careers of future NASCAR stars through Kyle Busch Motorsports. Happy birthday to NASCAR Hall of Famer Leonard Wood. A mechanical innovator and master crew chief, Wood helped revolutionize the modern pit stop as a member of Wood Brothers Racing. When traditional floor jacks weighed 70 to 80 pounds and required as many as 10 pumps to lift a race car, Wood modified the design so his team could raise a car with just two or three pumps. Wood’s expertise also helped power one of the most successful partnerships in NASCAR history.

Happy birthday to NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Childress! After competing as a driver for more than a decade, he founded Richard Childress Racing and built an organization that became one of the most successful teams in NASCAR history. With six NASCAR Cup Series championships and more than 200 victories across NASCAR’s national series, RCR has played a defining role in the careers of drivers including Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch.
