Kon’s good, but this is the right choice. After the first ten games when they deploying Flagg as a PG for some reason, he’s been incredible. Took a while for the narrative to catch up.

21 points. 6.7 rebounds. 4.5 assists. No Kyrie. Just him. Deserved.

Flagg won this award because he was force-fed the ball on a 20-win Mavericks team that had nothing to play for but his development. He spent the season stat-padding in blowouts and chucking his way to 21 points a game. The voters fell for the highlight-reel dunks and the 50pter

Cooper Flagg put up 4 40+ point games and a 51 point game and hornets fans want you to think Kon making catch and shoot threes off of Lamelo and Miller makes him rookie of the year

I'm interested in the vote breakdown. I want to see how many of the 80 voters that was gonna vote for Kon switched because of a Play-in game that doesn't count.

There's no right answer. But keep in mind Flagg was actually handicapped at the beginning of the season by being forced to play out of position!
