NCPCR rescues four minor girls and one minor boy trafficked for labour from Bawana in the North West District of Delhi.

Today marks the beginning of the 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, strengthening our collective resolve towards a Swasth, Suposhit and Saksham Bharat. I look forward to launching this nationwide campaign today at the Rudraksh Convention Centre, Varanasi, in the august presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri @myogiadityanath Ji. NCPCR launched a special campaign titled *"Pan India Rescue and Rehabilitation of Children Engaged in Child Labour"* on June 12, 2026. The campaign concluded on August 31, 2026. During this period, over 3,700 children have been successfully rescued.

NCPCR's team visits on 02.09.2026 to inquire into the matter of child abuse, where "alleged physical abuse, wrongful restraint and other child-rights violations at Makoons Kids Unplugged Play School, Maujpur, Delhi" had taken place. Earlier, NCPCR has taken suo-motu cognizance.
