Bucs/NFL beat writer for Tampa Bay Times. Co-author of the Players’ Coach with Tom Moore. Host Sports Day Tampa Bay, a podcast on Apple Podcasts (ITunes)
I’m very proud to announce Tom Moore’s book, The Players’ Coach: From Bradshaw to Manning, Brady and beyond, which I co-wrote with him, is available on Amazon for pre-order.
He talked, I typed.
Honored to help tell coach Moore’s story. In stores Labor Day

Another episode of The Blitz in the books with @NFLSTROUD!
We hear the 'Fire Todd Bowles' crowd.
Rick explains why the Glazer Family doesn't make midseason firings.
Also, if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers players love Todd Bowles so much, they got a funny way of showing it.
Bucs activated safety Ifeatu Melifonwu from the practice squad on Saturday, making him eligible to play Sunday against the Vikings on Sunday. They had only 3 safeties on the 53-man roster.
Bucs LB Josiah Trotter (shoulder) looked like he was participating in practice today. Good sign for the rookie being available. OLB Anthony Nelson (shin) is working. Still no Rueben Bain Jr. (groin), who would seemingly be out for Sunday.
Happy football Friday! Bucs are desperate for a win over Vikings. Big college football weekend with Ole Miss vs Florida and Rays prepare for ALDS. Your mailbag questions as well!
