NH has more Independent voters than there are members in either major political party, yet the parties demand that non-party-members pay for their primaries.

If the FedGov wants to take this power away from the states, then Congress needs to create legislation doing so. This is not something POTUS has the power to do.
This is an unconstitutional effort by the president.

They'll actually say "qualified immunity"... but you're right; that's exactly what they'll say. Organizations like the Institute for Justice (@IJ), and Classic Liberals (@NHCLP) , push back against that type of anti-accountability routinely.
So are you suggesting that because the government avoids accountability, states should NOT try to help their citizens whose civil rights are violated?
