An Export Orientation Programme under the Niryat Bandhu Scheme of DGFT was jointly organised by DGFT, EPCH and the Department of Posts, Government of India, at Guwahati, which highlighted key aspects of the export ecosystem, including export procedures, documentation, Foreign Trade Policy, the Logistics Interventions for Freight & Transport (LIFT) scheme, Dak Niryat Kendra and postal export/logistics facilities for MSMEs and small exporters.
EPCH highlighted its support for handicraft exporters and entrepreneurs through export orientation, capacity building, product development, export readiness, international trade fairs, buyer–seller linkages and market-access opportunities. Dedicated sessions by ECGC and EXIM Bank also covered export credit insurance, risk protection, export finance and financial assistance available to exporters.
Dignitaries present were Mr. Sachin Kishore, Chief Postmaster General (CPMG), India Post; Ms. Vipasha Singla, Director, India Post; Mr. Ajay Kumar Srivastava, Assistant DGFT; Mr. Abhishek Anand, Section Head, DGFT; Mr. Anand Kumar Singh, Branch Manager, ECGC, Guwahati; and Mr. Alok Bora, Regional Head, EXIM Bank, Guwahati.
