During our first practice of the year I felt a pop in my shoulder while throwing. That pop turned out to be a SLAP/labral tear. After finding this out a little over a week before our first game, I decided that I would play through it but I was only able to play through the first half due to the pain. After over a month of rehabbing and trying to play through some of the worst pain that I have ever felt. I have decided that it’s in my best interest to get surgery and recover. While it’s sad that I’m losing my senior season, I’m very proud to be able to say that in the one half that I did get to play this year I went 10/12 with 123 passing yards 1 passing TD and zero interceptions all while playing through a torn labrum. Below are my highlights from that game. Thank you to all of the people around me who have pushed me all throughout my high school career to be the person I am today.
