I thought missionaries were supposed to be set apart?

Its so easy. Just give the same speech but replace gambling with abortion! Every who is obedient will follow it.
The difference is we will now stop gambling. But the progmos will still support the abortion legislation the church opposes.

Utterly foolish!
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!
Community note
This repeats a promise Trump made in September 2026. The US has approximately 250 million adult citizens so the total cost would be over 1.25 trillion dollars. Congress must approve any such federal spending. nytimes.com/2026/09/10/us/… pbs.org/newshour/polit…

Not a single person has ever been able to explain what peacemaking means without compromising belief. No one has even been able to share an example of a scriptural charater ever compromising their beliefs for peace. This topic is extremely troubling and none of us understand it

I imagine another talk on peacemaking will actually likely help clarify that if it's really that widespread of an issue. Being a Peacemaker doesn't mean being a doormat. It also strikes me that your chafing against peacemaking means you're either misunderstanding the concept or ceding the ground on it to those who don't—neither of which are things I think you should be doing. IMO, our call to be Peacemakers is because it's actually effective in the long run, even though it's very difficult to do correctly.

Anyone else imagine hell as the Nether? If its a physical location, I'm mining the crap out of it and building a base! "And if we go to hell, we will turn the devils out of doors and make a heaven of it." - Joseph Smith

It's the baseline of the female nature, reckless untethered by morals and not accountable to anyone. Only curable or contained by the Guidance and Love of a good Father and later a good Husband. We truly are built to be in Pairs. Our nature's demand traditional homes both in our youth and our maturity, without those both genders are toxic

Rape is extremely rare. It basically never happens and is a weapon feminists invented. The real rape is what happens to a man when the weapon is pointed at him.

They are literal rape victims, multiple times according to her sworn and signed statements

Imagine formulating your Christian world view around men who never knew Jesus and who killed dissenters. At least LDS can claim Joseph Smith knew Jesus.
Joseph Smith got it wrong. There are not many Gods. There is only one God. Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit are God. One God in three persons. Not modalism (as Latter-day Saints oftentimes suggest), but a trinity. Joseph Smith has deceived millions.

My prayer for General Conference: May God bless the apostles and prophets with boldness. Give them confidence in their mission. Bless them that they will be fearless in their assertions and sharp in their rebuke. Wash them of the blood and sins of this generation through their words. Help the world to see. Show us how weak and helpless we are. Remind us that we need to fear God. Impress upon us the reality of our our fallen state. Uncover the depths of sorrow our Savior decended below. Gather those who will, under Thy wings. Deliver us from evil. 🙏🏻

WOW! She admires people who "know whats right in their hearts, even if it goes against church doctrine" We're cooked, brotheren...
I admire people who can’t be molded, who don’t seek to fit in a box, who have discernment, and who know what’s right in their hearts, even if it goes against church doctrine. I love members who love asking questions and who struggle with some doctrines. With religion, I’m too progressive for the conservative members and too conservative for the progressive members. I’m actually looking forward to general conference. I’m taking classes through BYU Online. I’ve been taking the Foundations of the Restoration Institute class for five weeks now. I have three more weeks of classes this block as far as institute classes go. Then I have two more blocks after that. I'm also attending SLCC online full-time. I plan to finish my BA at another college, maybe even BYU. If I ever become more active and seek a temple recommend again, it will be because of people like @RigdonNancy3.

As if womens accounts are being throttled somehow. Welcome to reality sister. This isnt instagram where women can dominate by dancing in front of a camera for simp ❤️'s. You actually have to prove yourself here.
I feel like women have only two ways to grow their X accounts: post selfies or talk about controversial topics. That’s it—that’s what the algorithm pushes.
