On February 18, 2024, Audrey Jimenez of Sunnyside High School in Tucson, Arizona became the first girl to win an Arizona state wrestling title against boys, capturing the Division I title at 106 pounds. Her win helped Sunnyside win its seventh-straight boys’ team championship.
