The Blockchain for the Quantum Era.

Quantum Safe Future
A new beginning arises in the quantum realm. Today, a new chapter begins. Naoris Protocol is now NaoX. $NAORIS remains unchanged, our post-quantum Layer 1 infrastructure continues exactly as before, and the work we have been building toward moves forward with the same fierce resilience as we prepare for the post-quantum future. We will share more about the story behind NaoX soon. For now, thank you for being part of this journey with us. The Year of NaoX begins now. Welcome to Fort NaoX.

Q-Day for Crypto = 2028? Q-Day for Banks = ❓ In Asia, regulators are pushing banks to migrate, but there's no deadline yet. And a bank is only as safe as the custodians and partners it's connected to. "With security, you're only as strong as your weakest link."

The Post-Quantum AI Economy. NaoX coded.
AI agents + digital assets = groundbreaking. AI agents + digital assets + post-quantum = unstoppable. The largest asset manager on earth has just described the next economy, and it isn't run by people. → AI agents holding stablecoins in on-chain wallets → Buying data and compute from each other, no human in the loop → Compute itself priced, financed and traded as a tokenised asset → Blockchains as the settlement layer for all of it, on the way to $1.1 trillion in hyperscaler revenue by 2030 Read that again. BlackRock is saying the customer of the next decade is software, that it will pay in digital assets, and that it will settle on public blockchains. The most important thing anyone in traditional finance has said about crypto this year. Which is where post-quantum comes in. An agent economy is a signature economy: thousands of signatures a day, no rotation, the public key on the chain from the first transaction. Classical keys give you the groundbreaking version. Post-quantum keys give you the one still standing when the quantum computer arrives. This is the economy @NaoXprotocol was built for. The agent's key is post-quantum from the moment it's created, and the protocol verifies every payment itself in microseconds. The Solidity and tooling BlackRock's paper takes for granted run unchanged. BlackRock has written the demand side of the machine economy. The settlement side has to hold for as long as the machines do.

20,000 physical qubits is all it will take to break Bitcoin? According to @IonQ_Inc, yes. On 8 September it published a full technical blueprint for breaking the signature scheme almost the entire crypto industry runs on: 19,397 trapped-ion qubits, 25.7 days, one private key. Its hardware roadmap has a machine of that size in the 2028 timeframe. Here's how far the hardware has come, largest machine by year, one qubit per seat: → 2019: Google's Sycamore, 53 qubits → 2021: IBM Eagle, 127 → 2022: IBM Osprey, 433 → 2023: IBM Condor, 1,121 → 2028: the blueprint, 20,000 In March @Google put the same job at under 500,000. Twenty-five times fewer in six months, and every revision has moved the same way. The people setting the deadlines can see the seats filling. That's what December 2029, 2030 and 2031 are: the last dates to be out of the ground before the stadium fills. Every transaction on @NaoXprotocol has been signed with a post-quantum signature since genesis, verified natively by the protocol, at the parameter set the NSA requires for national security systems. The seats can fill whenever they like.

🔁 "Any company building for the next 20, 30, 50 years needs to be agile on the cryptography its infrastructure sits on." Approved schemes get broken, and China hasn't published its own standards yet. @PQabelian on why crypto agility is the real requirement. Learn more 👇

🇪🇺 The @EU_Commission asked 97 organisations to grade its post-quantum roadmap. Most of them handed back a question. A year after Europe set its deadlines, this is the first public measure of whether the migration has begun. It hasn't. → What they valued: the dates. National strategies by 2026, high-risk systems by 2030, the rest by 2035 → What 63 of them asked: what do we change first → What they got back: an FAQ The organisations that run Europe's banks, grids and networks accept the threat and the deadline, and still can't name their first move. The US, China, the UK, Japan, Australia and more are at the same point. Crypto is behind all of them. No regulator setting dates, no roadmap for most chains, and the first move, changing the signature under every transaction, is one no chain can make alone. NaoX runs on NIST's post-quantum signature standard from block one. The first move was made at genesis. The great quantum awakening has moved past "is it real" and into "what's our first step". That's progress, even when the answer is still an FAQ. GM!

Privacy x Quantum Resistant 🔐 Two of the biggest narratives in the industry right now, usually built by different teams on different chains. @PQabelian is combining both on one chain, and Richard explains why privacy is so crucial in a post-quantum world. Learn more 👇

🏗 Every house on Blockchain Street is having its foundations replaced Jacks under the walls. Engineers in the basement. Residents told to carry on as normal. Some houses have a completion date. Some are still choosing a contractor. Some haven't had the survey yet. And the same quantum computer is coming down the street for all of them. So the real question for any builder: replace the foundations under a house people are living in, or pour post-quantum ones before the first brick? NaoX chose the second. Post-quantum signatures on every transaction from the first block, the same EVM tools on top, nothing underneath that will ever need digging up. Happy Saturday! 🤜🤛

Press send on a crypto transaction, and it's protected by maths a quantum computer will break. On a post-quantum chain like NaoX, every step that follows is different, and you'd never notice. Here's how a post-quantum blockchain works ⬇️

Yes, we know. Post-quantum signatures are heavier. 🏋️ But there's a good reason for it 👇 A classical signature weighs about 64 bytes. An ML-DSA-87 signature weighs around 4,600. Seventy times more. The weight isn't waste. It's the maths. A classical signature rests on an elliptic curve, a compact problem that a quantum computer solves outright. A post-quantum signature rests on a lattice, a problem in hundreds of dimensions that no quantum algorithm has ever cracked. That security takes up space. So the question was never whether to carry the weight. It was how. On NaoX, a post-quantum signature is verified natively by the chain in around 38.5 microseconds, roughly 26,000 per second per core. The cost is bytes, not compute. And the blocks were built around the 4,600-byte signature from genesis, so the weight lives in the architecture, not in your experience of using the chain. Built to lift the post-quantum weight.

⚡️ The race to quantum supremacy is accelerating. The last time nations raced for a technology that could rewrite the balance of power, it ended in a space race and an arms race. So is it realistic to expect them to cooperate on quantum? Or does the first to build the machine keep it? 🤔
