CSD BR is using XRPL to mirror selected BTG Pactual fund shares as Multi Purpose Tokens. CSD BR has more than BRL 22 trillion, about $4 trillion, in registered assets. That $4 trillion is the size of CSD BR’s business. It isn’t $4 trillion sitting on XRPL. CSD BR still keeps the official records for registration, custody and settlement. What we have right now is selected fund shares being mirrored onto XRPL so there’s a public record alongside their existing system. I actually like this development. We have a regulated securities depository in Brazil using XRPL with real fund shares. Why turn that into something it isn’t? The actual story is already good. The $7 billion RWA headline is getting stretched too. Almost all of that Sept. 22 number came from repeated transfers involving one tokenized product.
