I realized today that I hadn't been outside all week. I stopped working and ate lunch outside -- it was really helpful & restorative.
So just here to give some unsolicited advice to go outside (if you can). It def helps with the blue blues. 💙

Ok, last tweet was mostly a joke, but actually how am I feeling?
I think I feel like a lot of non yt America today. In moments like this, we are reminded of our oppression spanning generations. I'm having conversations around how we will always be Othered. Never American enough.

All of this to say that while I am disappointed, I'm not going anywhere. I will continue to fight and search for causes that empower us, the underrepresented.
We're still here. There's power in that as well. And I'll take that and move forward how I can for my community + kids.

There are so many levels of what I’m feeling tonight. As a woman, person of color, ♥️er of the LGBTQIA+ people in my life, mother of 2 — including a daughter. I just, can’t believe we are here again. I was so scared of being right back here again after 2016, and here we are. 😫😔
