What is of God? “But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God.” Acts 5:39

Allow the Holy Spirit to work through you You don’t have to study or be educated in spiritual matters you have to accept and submit to The Son and allow space for The Comforter to work through you “Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist." Luke 21:14-15

Doubt is a tool to serve God "The Lord has prepared everything for his purpose—even the wicked for the day of disaster" Proverbs 16:4

The difference between a righteous and an unrighteous person isn’t that a righteous person doesn’t sin A righteous person sins more than an unrighteous person But a righteous person is righteous by faith and receives the righteousness of Christ So that while the unrighteous person remains in sin, the righteous person gets out of sin until he or she is free of it and gives full (7) credit to Christ "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." Proverbs 24:16

Godly people have no enemies Alignment with God means your enemies cease to oppose you Just as God uses everybody, even the wicked, for His purpose, godly people benefit from everybody’s efforts Rebellion against God’s purpose is alignment with the enemy, who convinces you to find more enemies against whom you can struggle and distract yourself “When a man’s ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7

Atheists are closer to God than idolaters It’s easier to fill an empty space than remove to something that shouldn’t be there first The main problem of people who haven’t found God isn’t lack of belief, but false beliefs “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:3

The opposite of reason is faith Reason follows premises; faith is commitment to a created premise This world is ruled by satan because this world is ruled by reason Everything is perfectly reasonable God (who is faith) still has authority but most people will have faith in what’s most reasonable instead of naturally allowing reason to follow faith “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2 Corinthians 4:4

The grace of the Gospel is attractive And God’s love and mercy in the context of His justice  naturally appeals But there are people who will never obey the truth that He saves without cost, without participation Because they were given laws and commandments, found in every man made religion, which are an opportunity to acquire self righteousness while condemning others And their desire for righteousness/judgement supersedes their desire for God They get what they want most “Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?” Galatians 5:7

The opposite of wealth is foolishness Competence and integrity always leads to success “The crown of the wise is their riches: but the foolishness of fools is folly.” Proverbs 14:24

People can choose salvation, choose Heaven But many don’t and volunteer for Hell Even in this life every lovely, pleasant, good thing exists and some people will still choose to occupy themselves with conflict, arguments, and unpleasant things “And ye will not come to Me, that ye might have life.” John 5:40

It’s a blessing to not have explicit personal witness of God (apart from the Bible) The angels knew God directly, so there was no room for forgiveness for those who rebelled The people before the Bible was completed witnessed God, His prophets, and His miracles, so they also experienced God’s judgement explicitly Fortunately, we have an entire lifetime of grace with which to desire and believe in God "Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." John 20:29

Wickedness loves the unknown People want the universe to be a mystery to hide their behavior We can justify ourselves with the unknown If everything is ordered and correct then there is no leeway for our transgressions outside of Jesus "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” John 3:19

Does the SAT effectively function as an IQ test? Let’s look at 10 facts. 1. SAT correlates ~0.8 with general intelligence (g). 2. Scores are normally distributed. 3. SAT correlates ~.72 with Raven’s Advanced Progressive Matrices, after correcting for range restriction. 4. SAT Verbal and Math both load heavily on g (classic estimates ~.75). 5. SAT correlates around .75–.86 with the GRE, which is the kind of long-term stability expected from a general-ability measure. 6. SAT conversion equations have been independently checked against another IQ battery (RIAS) and still predicted IQ reasonably well. 7. Roughly 50–70% of SAT variance is attributable to general intelligence. 8. College Board’s own former president, Gaston Caperton, said the SAT “in its original form was an IQ test.” 9. Mensa treated old SAT scores as qualifying IQ evidence. 10. The original SAT was built from an Army IQ test. So while the SAT is not technically an IQ test, both are measuring the same underlying ability: general intelligence (g).
