A believer that the answer, usually lies in the middle, of most arguments. Acceptance and respect shouldn't be conditional.
It shouldn't feel off at all. Did we forget that his primary training is with firearms? Not just from his days in the army, but also his time as a Hydra assassin. He is an expert in CQC, but only as needed. He is far more efficient, at a distance.
Because he had a gun. What would've been the point of running ahead? It has nothing to do with his abilities, as they mostly match Steve's, as seen in Winter Soldier. He simply is, primarily, a distance fighter.
Gone with the Wind, was re-released in theaters 8 times.
Was kept from Broadcast airing for 37 years, and from home media for almost 46.
Yet, I'm supposed to believe that when it comes to box office records, inflation can be used as an isolated metric? Talk about cherry picking.
Here a further example of when being disrespectful isn't enough, now it needs to turn into harassment. I appreciate open hostility though. Easier to weed out these "people".
An example of those who, despite the level of respect or restraint shown, still choose to be rude, because that's worth more to them, than being decent human beings. These are the ones I refer to as "people" because they are a surface level imitation of what a person should be.
You might not like it, but they certainly didn't feel overhyped 20 years ago, nor did they when I saw them in NYC last year. Always good to remember that calling something out, is calling out their fans too. I rather say it's not for me, but that's my approach.
I see what you did there. Trying to get people to react. However, I read the article and I had to laugh afterwards, at the comments of this post. 😅
I understand people don't read anymore, but you knew what you were doing. 😬
It is good to stay humble and remember that as an industry of entertainment, when you call something as being "ridiculous", you are also calling out, the audience that supports it. Funny how when it's time to cash the paychecks, nothing is out of bounds.
Having played the PS3 and PS4 versions, the PS4 port does a lot for the brightness and textures.
As far as the game goes, it's just insane camp, in the best possible way. As the series gets more serious, this game feels fun and reckless. The modern controls adds to the fun.
If you are into Horror, and are looking for something that's rewarding, but not bloated I'd recommend The Medium and Post Trauma. Both inspired by SH, while having strong identities. Very atmospheric, and both feature great music.
RDR2 was, and in many ways, still is, a technical marvel. Unfortunately it forgot to be entertaining, along the way. Losing to GoW Ragnarök wasn't robbery, it was an honor.
It's spooky season, so time to dive into that #backlog of games that you been avoiding to play in the dark.
We got tons of them, so don't make excuses.
Silent Hill 2,f, Townfall
Resident Evil 7, Requiem
Dead Space remake
The Callisto Protoco
Fatal Frame 2 remake
Cronos:TND
The beginning feels like playing something akin to Siren. However, as the gameplay loop becomes clear, and you start shifting into the alternate reality and face her personal demons, you can't avoid feeling the SH roots. On top, you add meaningful combat, and disturbing moments.
Her death was rough, and not getting a gathering, even an intimate one, to say goodbye, felt wrong.
She held the fort, when everyone else went their separate ways, post blip. I can see why Yelena was sore about it. I wish they did more regarding that, aside her Hawkeye cameo.
#Platinum 363, for Ghost Hunter. A nifty PS2 game, that I completely missed back in the day. It was nice to get a chance to play it. Feels very advanced, for the time, although the story feels incomplete at the end. It was a good time, overall. #TrophyShare#PlayStation
Yep, I recommend anyone playing it, to set the combat on easy, and enjoy the exploration, and puzzles. Setting the puzzles on hard can be a fun combo. Despite being different from the series, the combat and enemy density in SHf is way better. The game is also way more brutal...
It is hard to pick a favorite. It's easy to go for the familiar, and say Silent Hill 2r. However, I encourage any fan of SH, and horror games, to not sleep on SHf. It is brutal, and brilliant. The combat takes a bit to get used to, but is worth it. Replays are a must.
For over a decade Xbox has been mixture that just won't react. Add all the catalysts; it won't make a difference, if the ingredients aren't right. Xbox is doing a lot of things that look good, but I don't know if when the time comes, if it will be enough.
Finally...
So many contrived moments and forced comedy. I got tired of the screaming and dumb decisions. Usually in RE games the character gets better as it progresses, not worse 😅
That Lab scene was straight from SNL.
Everything after the RV, in the tunnel, was pretty bad.
Remember kids, no review score aggregate, can determine how much you'll enjoy a game. Also, social media only reflects narratives, not conversations. Trust yourself, and maybe the few, who have earned it.
That's really good, but I keep experiencing, with many things now, that the collective experience, doesn't reflect my individual one. I am rooting for this game. The team behind it, does special work, and lately, is hard to pick among so many good things available, at once.
That's to say, to dismiss current records, based solely on prices, and blame studios, is to take for granted, the agency of the audience, the cultural significance of what's standing out, and dismiss what will be looked with attention, in the future, as we do now, with the past.
The high volume can be argued, is partly a direct result of affordability, not avid support. Inflation is constant, but not as comparable anymore. Adding to it, are other conditions, that have changed, like: streaming services, reduced theatrical windows, and amount of content.
This is still the best #ResidentEvilㅤ movie, to date. The new one has interesting ideas, but after a certain shocking scene in an RV, the script falls off a cliff along with my interest. There's only so many times you can have me ask: "What is he doing?" before losing me. 6/10
I've felt that way since the beginning of PS4. I think I'll stay on PS5/Switch 2, for a long, long time. Probably longer than any previous consoles. I feel like I've reached my limit, in terms of what I want from gaming.
#Platinum 362, for Soul Reaver 2. I was looking forward to revisiting this game. Despite the great storytelling and tone, the gameplay is bare bones, even compared to the first. 5 out of 6 Platinums, for Legacy of Kain series. #TrophyShare#PlayStation
#Platinum 361, for Nobody Wants to Die. Great looking, with excellent dialog and performances. Unfortunately the lacking gameplay makes it drag after the mid point, making a second run for any missed trophies a bit of a chore, despite it's short length. #TrophyShare#PlayStation
I bought my first PSN digital game, in 2008. I still have access to it. Haven't lost anything I paid for there.
I play on PlayStation and Nintendo because, they have the games I've enjoyed, for decades. What's the big mystery, and noise? I'll be where the games I like, are.
Thanos could have been killed by a few people on that Battle Field. However he had an army, plus the wits and will to do everything he could, to survive.
