Given current affairs & the ongoing conflicts in the world, we chose As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow, a 2022 novel by Syrian Canadian author Zoulfa Katouh, set during the early Syrian Revolution. #NephJC Did you like the book, or do you prefer non-fiction?

yes, I am glad I read it for better Syrian history & cultural awareness, as the author intended. Interesting that the book was published 2 yrs before the end of the revolution, #nephjc
